FOREST BERLIN
In the heights of Bagua Grande is the ACP Forest, Berlin, managed by the family Rimarachín, who receive their visitors as to his own family. The magic of the place, along with the cozy lodge and the technical knowledge that the family has a place, it makes it a unique and inspiring experience.
Tourist attractions in the ACP and the surrounding area
The montane forest tropical humid rainforest with waterfalls and caves. Large number of endemic species, perfect for practising your birdwatching, eco-tourism, experiential tourism, and research. You can participate in activities like horseback riding, milking cows, and the obtaining of panela.
Representative species
Monkey nocturnal, mono choro de cola amarilla, ocelot, cock of the rock, quetzal, golden headed, carpenter, guan, wild, parrot, eagle, glue, scissors, toucan. Orchids, ferns, araceas, bromeliads and saucecillos. We also retain the tree of the Machine , a species native to, present in the National emblem as a worthy representative of the plant kingdom.
How to reach
We have two routes: Route 1. Departing from Bagua to the whereabouts upper Peru, route Collicate until you reach the village of Santa Clara. From there, walk for 90 min. until the shelter of the family Rimarachín. Route 2. Route Bagua grande, Laguna Burlán, Miraflores, Buenos Aires, New east and New Covenant. After a 30-minute walk.
